Planning a heist? 3D images of Nintendo HQ

Got plans? - Image 1

If you’re planning to embark on a campaign that will spark a new definition of fanboy terrorism, you may find this post quite useful. Apparently, some Japan-based reader named Matt has informed Kotaku that that he has made a 3D model of Nintendo of Japan’s HQ building using Google Sketch up. The report says that he used reference photos that he took of the site.

So anal was the person about the precision of the rendition, that he ended up revisiting the site to measure the outer wall’s bricks. Fortunately for him he wasn’t arrested.

Matt claims that he will be uploading the models to Google’s 3D warehouse in a bit, even though he feels that it’s still a work in progress. Below are samples of that 3D model:

If you’re looking to take advantage of the fact that the DS prints money, feel free to use the images as you wish. Too bad there aren’t any images of the interior.

[ You know we’re kidding about all this heist/theft/terrorism stuff right? ]
