Playlogic Entertainment developing new game for Sony PlayStation

Playlogic developing new game for the Sony PS3 - Image 1Another publisher resurfaces for this year, as Playlogic Entertainment announced that it’s in the early stages of developing a new game for the Sony PlayStation 3. It will be noted that prior to this, Playlogic announced that it was signing an extension for its first-party development contract with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE).

Playlogic executive VP Rogier Smit further explained that this new game is under development at the company’s in-house studio in Breda, the Netherlands. In line with this announcement, Smit also elaborated on Playlogic’s commitment to the UK market:

The UK is a very important market for us. Our recent releases such as Infernal (Windows PC), Ancient Wars: Sparta (Windows PC), Xyanide Resurrection (PS2, PlayStation Portable)and Obscure II (PlayStation 2, Wii, and Windows PC) have all performed well and we plan to release even more titles in the future.

Playlogic Entertainment is currently based in New York and Amsterdam, and has a total of 75 employees. Check back again in case we find more information regarding the company’s yet-to-be-revealed PlayStation 3 title.
