Playstation Finder: catch the elusive PS3

Playsttion Finder

Still tracking down that elusive PS3 that you can finally call your own? We told you about PS3Seeker which has a configured Google map to give locations to PS3-carrying stores nearest your location. The map is updated regularly and since we last posted it a lot of blank spaces have been filled up.

But if you’d rather hunt online and wouldn’t mind paying someone to get hold of the console you love more than your grandmother, you can try another PS3 tracker called the Playstation Finder. It is, according to them, “the fastest PS3 locator on the Internet. Period.”

Playstation Finder uses a wide network of systems to actively monitor Internet vendors 24/7 to locate stores that have PlayStation 3 units in stock. And when they do find one, you get an email “usually within 3-5 seconds” that a unit is in stock, and provide you a link. The rest is up to you.

Playstation Finder charges a flat fee of US$6.50 from the day you sign up until the day they shut it down. Beats bidding on eBay by a few thousand dollars!
