PlayStation Store update: Stranglehold, NBA Live 08 demos and more

It’s game time, people. A recent update (September 6) for the PlayStation Network has listed demos for Midway’s Stranglehold (also for the PC, Xbox 360) and EA Sports‘ NBA Live 08 (also for the PC, Xbox 360, PSP, Wii and PS2). And while you’re tossing coins to see which of the two to download first, there are tons of trailers, wallpapers, and add-on packs to whet your appetite.

Revolution Studios’ Motorstorm gets a load of additional content with the Weekend Add-on Pack, which includes a dusty new track, a slew of vehicles, races and modes to savor at US$ 5.99. If you would rather grab individual add-ons for vehicles, you could grab a Wakazashi Razor bike, Wombat Mudslide ATV, Atlas Varjack mudplugger, and Atlas Arizona big rig for US$ 0.99 each.  And don’t forget the version 2.0 patch that’s out for the game, too.

Need more modes for Tecmo‘s Ninja Gaiden Sigma? There’s a new Weapons Master add-on for US$ 2.99 to slap 5 survival modes for your sword-slashing pleasure. And if your hard drive storage could use new content to sift through, the PlayStation Store also drops a sackload of freebies to satisfy that little child in all of us. Or just me.
