PMP Mod AVC updated to v1.02
Jonny has released an updated version of his PMP Mod AVC homebrew AVC media player for the PSP. This version of his original PMP Mod allows firmware 1.5 users to play full resolution, high-quality AVC movie files converted using the PMP AVC Muxer without having to upgrade to firmware 2.0+ or use DevHook.
Just two days after the last PMP Mod AVC release comes this version which fixes some sound problems such as random pops that were mainly audible with headphones and adds a new requested feature – a loop option which can be toggled on and off using x + right trigger. To convert files into the PMP format, there is an included muxer where width, height, and fps of the video need to be specified. However, since x264 has been patched to write a file with the width, height, and fps of the video, normally, you do not need to provide the info manually.
As with all of Jonny’s high quality homebrew releases, he has also released the source code for developers and coders alike to oogle at and modify at their own discretion.
