Pokemon Battle Revolution trailer

It looks like such an epic battle when you’ve got giant sized pokemon beating the stuffing out of each other, but less so when you’re probably starting out with some piddly little Jigglypuff. Still, you can’t fault the game for offering accurate representations of pokemon size, so it’s probably your fault for not giving into the Pokemon video game craze sooner!

*insert cries of “Learn 2 Pokebattle NEWB!” here*

Now, now. Don’t get so depressed over having weak pokemon. It’s not the end of the world! Remember, Pokemon Battle Revolution is a lighthearted game filled with the hopes and dreams (and possibly souls) of millions of kids and teens everywhere. Everyone hopes to grab the best pokemon and raise them to reach the top, so you shouldn’t worry. You’ll get there eventually with some lucky monster-catching and a lot of TLC for your battling beasties.

In the meantime, you can expect to have thrilling battles like the one seen in the trailer for the game. It gives you a quick glimpse of the DS connectivity that lets you control the game using the DS stylus. It also seems you can challenge anyone on the Wi-Fi network who’s on at the same time you are, so that should make for some interesting pokebattles.

One thing you can imagine, though, is using all the same functionality for a Shin Megami Tensei game. Demons versus pocket monsters? Demons will definitely win!
