Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2 comes out with two new videos

Nothing says “gaming clique” more than the Pokemon franchise. You’ll see them churn out sequel after sequel of cute little critters year after year. So it comes as no suprise that one of the newest series in Nintendo’s line of Pokemon games has a new sequel all ready to continue the legacy.

Here are a couple of trailers from the newest Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series. Much like its predecessor, it comes in two different flavors. Entitled Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2: Time Exploration Team and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2: Darkness Exploration Team, both seem to take a page directly out of the first games in the series.

According to the videos, not much of the interface and the initial story line has changed. However, the new line up of Pokemon from the Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl editions of the game may still give players enough incentive to “catch ’em all!”

Expected to come out in Japan next week, people in the States will have to wait a while before it arrives to our shores since no official word has yet been announced on when it will be released.
