PS3 on top of Media Create Japanese hardware sales from December 14 to 20

Media Create has released the Japanese hardware sales numbers for the week covering December 14 to 20. The PS3’s still on top of the heap, followed by Nintendo’s monstrous Wii and DS combo.

 

 

Media Create has released the Japanese hardware sales numbers for the week covering December 14 to 20. The PS3’s still on top of the heap, followed by Nintendo’s monstrous Wii and DS combo.

 

The PS3 has a pretty big lead on the second place Wii, most likely owing to Final Fantasy XIII‘s release which falls in the period covered. The PSP Go’s still in dead last, although overall PSP sales did total up to a rather good 82,454. Still not enough to beat the DS, however, total sales of which were an impressive 183,347 units.
