Fall Ball v1.0 - Image 1Homebrew developer grafele (the creator of Crash! Car) and the rest of the PSPfreak.de development team have come out with Fall Ball v1.0. Interestingly enough, the game comes in two versions, one for the 1.00 kernel and another for the 3.xx kernel. This means that you can try out this game no matter what PlayStation Portable model you’re using.

The game is simple in its design but hard to master. Players have to guide a ball through various holes as it falls down from the top of the screen. Unlike most homebrew games, you play this game with the PSP in a horizontal position and control the game using the circle, cross, square, and triangle  buttons.

The developers didn’t mention if they plan on releasing future versions of this application. If they do, perhaps they might decide adding some improvements to the game such as variable levels and options to tweak the physics governing the ball.
