PSXChecker v1.0 - Image 1Don’t let the name fool you, PSXChecker isn’t what you may think. It isn’t used for PSX emulated games. It’s actually a diagnostic tool for your PSP.

PSP homebrew developer Xager designed it to test and diagnose certain system routines of your PlayStation Portable, making sure that the buttons are working properly, to test the left and right the audio channels, and even repair stuck pixels.

Here’s the dev’s to-do list:

  • Graphical menu, not likely but still possible.
  • Change sound to “left channel, right channel”
  • More tests?
  • Possibility to test a second joystick?
  • Eastereggs?
  • Fullscreen TV-out, will look into it for 1.1
