Subscribers to homebrew developer billylee8‘s uber-useful PSP Kanji Learner should update their portable kanji learning aid. Set 7 of the the homebrew application PSP Kanji Learner is finally out, with lots of additions. However, if this is your first time to come across this learning aid, you’d best start at the first set to play catch up.

Set 7 adds a total of 250 daily use (Jouyou) kanji to your Kanji Learner collection (provided that you use and collect the previous sets), and some corrections to the order the kanji are presented are also added. Here are some notes from homebrew dev billylee8, for those who are following the various PSP Kanji Learner sets:

Although most of you probably wouldn’t (and shouldn’t) care, when beginning on this set of the 939 remaining Daily Use Kanji (i.e. Jouyou Kanji), I noticed there were a lot of full kanji lists online that weren’t in any order at all…so I just remade the list.

Do take note that since the PSP Kanji Learner is a set of video flash cards, there’s no need for any custom firmware to enjoy this program. The homebrew developer also has several other notes in his thread, so better check them out through the link below. Enjoy!
