PSP official firmware 5.01 out now

Sony has fired out a quick firmware update for their PlayStation portable handheld consoles. If you feel like updating your PSP up to firmware 5.01, check the Network Update feature of your PSP as we’ve just gotten word that firmware 5.01 is now available.

Sony has fired out a quick firmware update for their PlayStation Portable handheld consoles. If you feel like updating your PSP up to firmware 5.01, check the Network Update feature of your PSP as we’ve just gotten word that firmware 5.01 is now available.

Firmware 5.01 fixes an issue where PSP owners using 8GB or 16GB Memory Stick PRO Duos get a message saying there is insufficient memory space on their Memory Sticks while downloading stuff from the PlayStation Store even when there is enough space.
