The past few months alone have been some of the best to have a PSP, what with one game getting announced after another. Hardware-wise, we’re still in Zombieville thanks to the undying PSP2/PSP 4000 rumor, and things even got more interesting this week after the long-awaited portable version of Gran Turismo was rumored to be a launch title for the PSP2. Yeah, John Koller likes to talk about the PSP’s upcoming games, and while it does get a little stale at times, it seems like the man really does mean what he says. The past few months alone have been some of the best to have a PSP, what with one game getting announced after another.

Hardware-wise, we’re still in Zombieville thanks to the undying PSP2/PSP 4000 rumor. Things even got more interesting this week after the long-awaited portable version of Gran Turismo was rumored to be a launch title for the PSP2.


General News:

  • A kid goes into a Wal-Mart and finds porn in his newly-bought PSP. No, that’s not a setup for a joke. Link.
  • This barely made it to this week’s Warrior. A kid goes to school with his father’s guns. He’d like to trade them in for a friend’s PSP, he said. Link
  • Words of wisdom from John Koller:
    • Fighting words: Third-party exclusivity is so last gen, and Sony doesn’t need to write cheques like Microsoft. Link.
    • New PSP franchises, the PSP 4000, and Sony’s plans for UMD. Link.
    • Echoing words he himself said, Koller says that we haven’t seen the end of all these PSP game announcements just yet. Link.
