PSPUpdates IRC Chat Channel
We are pleased to announce our new official IRC chat channel. For those of you who do not know what IRC is, it stands for Internet Relay Chat and is a very popular way to chat online. Feel free to come support us there and get to know other members better that you have already met in our forums.
We are located in the EFnet IRC network, channel #PSPUpdates.
With this being an official channel, we must also have the same rules applied there as with our site. Please do not publicly link ANY sites with ROMÂ’s, UMD loaders, dumpers, .binÂ’s etc in the channel (this is the main rule, if you do it may result in a kick or ban). You may talk about the subject freely, but links will not be tolerated. Please keep conversations civil and do not flame endlessly, keep an open mind. Do not spam the channel repeatedly, people can see it the first time. Please help out others in need and don’t be quick to discourage anyone. What may be a simple question to you doesnÂ’t mean the person wants a flame instead of an answer. Just remember this channel is for you, the PSP users and the scene as a whole, so letÂ’s keep it a great place to go and to keep coming back.
For those of you who have no idea how to join the fun, the easiest way is to get an IRC client called mIRC from [here]. Simply run the program, enter in your nickname etc., and connect to the EFnet IRC network. Once connected, type ‘/join #PSPUpdates’ and you’re there.
If you wish to take the easy way out, IÂ’ve created a mIRC package that will automatically join you to our channel once you enter in your nickname etc.
