Last week, Famitsu confirmed that Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2 is in the works, featuring new characters (well, they’re old, but they’re technically new, but… ugh you know what I mean). Personally, my favorites are Suzu Huzibayashi and Cless Alvein, two of the main protagonists in Tales of Phantasia, my first Tales game.

Two new elite classes have been revealed by Famitsu this time: the Twin Blade class and the Monk. Unless you haven’t guessed yet, the Twin Blade class can wield two swords, one for each hand (screenshot top left). The class is effective for bursts of continuous attacks, devastating if you know how to use it. The Monk class (screenshot top right) specializes in recovery techniques, to aid those in battle.

These two classes actually remind me of my favorite combo class for Final Fantasy Tactics: the Monk with the ability of the two-handed Ninja class. If the Twin Blade elite class is anything like that, I’d go for it in a pinch.
