Rare: Industry’s future success depends on Natal
With a lot of developers putting their money on Project Natal, it’s obvious that a lot is riding on this new technology. Rare’s Mark Betteridge seconds this claim saying that the success of Natal is “going to be critical for the future success of (the games) industry.”
With a lot of developers putting their money on Project Natal, it’s obvious that a lot is riding on this new technology. Rare’s Mark Betteridge seconds this claim saying that the success of Natal is “going to be critical for the future success of (the games) industry.”
The Rare studio head made his sentiments known in an interveriew with GamesIndustry.biz:
“For Natal, we’ve really had to pull out the stops to do what you’ll see us do with that, and you need to be flexible. It’s going to be critical I think for the future success of this industry.”
He went on to say that “It’s a very exciting time for the industry, and for us it’s about focusing on how we can maximize the opportunity by being efficient and flexible.”
He did not give, however, any clue as to what they’re developing for Natal.
