Insomniac Games announced via their Twitter account that Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time  will be released this coming October for North America. They also gave “one stellar pre-order option.”

First, the release date. October is the month for the unlikely duo to once again reign supreme in the PlayStation console, the 27th being the exact date. Now, as for the pre-order bonus, Insomniac has tied up with GameStop to provide the “stellar” bonus, with the following details:

Reserve Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time and receive the GameStop exclusive Discovery Package. Explore the Insomniac Moon, a special level that resembles the layout of the Insomniac offices. Scattered through this museum-like level, players will discover a moonÂ’s worth of extra content. Available for online and in-store customers while supplies last.

For online/ in-store pickup pre-order customers, you will get the code and download instructions via email beginning on November 23, 200. As for store customers, the pre-order card containing a code and download instructions will be available on hand at the time of your pick-up of the game.
