RCO Editor v1.14d

Sony PSP - Image 1As PSP developer ZiNgABuRgA stated over at his site, it’s been getting busy lately, which unfortunately means less time to work on the RCO Editor application. But aside from this rather bad news, the developer’s also letting everybody know that RCO Editor v1.14d and its source code are now up and about.

This application, as its names implies, will allow users to modify the RCO files that appear on their PSP’s flash0. Here are its latest changes:

  • v1.14d:
    • Added option to disable .bak writing
    • Allow some resource adding to General and Text – note that this is incomplete and buggy
    • Other small bug fixes
  • v1.14c
    • Fixed a bug involving image extraction

Users may also want to remember that this application will only work on decrypted RCOs. Given that it’s written in Visual Basic, ZiNgABuRgA reminds Windows 9x users to double-check to see if their computers are properly updated.

The app is available for download here – guys interested in joining related discussions are invited to head on over to the app’s thread over at the QJ.Net Forums, begun by forum member oni8245. Lastly, guys interested in picking up v1.14d’s source code are invited to visit ZiNgABuRgA site (the source link). Enjoy the download!
