RCO Icon Editor v1.05

Screenshot - Image 1If you guys have been enjoying vision’s Custom XMB volume bar homebrew from a few days ago, then you may have noticed the “thanks to Zinga” clause, which made mention of an RCO Editor. Following up on that, ZiNgABuRgA is releasing his RCO Icon Editor v1.05 application, which should make editing your PSP’s XMB menus a tad bit easier. As for this version’s changelog:

  • Added an Extract All function
  • Will now automatically backup the RCO before editing (makes a .bak file)
  • Bug fix (was causing issues when loading some custom system_plugin_bg.rco files)

(The entire changelog’s available in the README.)

As a word of caution, Zinga reminds everybody that this application only works on decrypted RCOs, and has so far been tested on 3.03 OE-C and 3.10 OE firmwares, though he believes it should work on 2.71 SE and 3.0x OE. Just make sure to view the bundle readme before attempting to run this app, and also make sure to be familiar with the recovery mode in case anything goes wrong. With that said, enjoy the download, and remember to see that other RCO editors are here for your usage!
