Arguably, Sony is somewhat slipping in the advertisement department, but it seems that the Wii ain’t going down in that same dirt road. Life is a never-ending series of impression management- in the sense that you don’t have to be good, but you have to look good. Same goes with video games.

All of us (sans the lucky few who review games for a living) are in the dark about Ubisoft‘s Red Steel. Yes, we may be armed with gameplay details and screenshots, but we haven’t really played the game and that’s where ads enter the picture and do their thing. The product should look good to be considered by buyers, but it has to be really good for it to have some staying power.

So since November 19 is a few winks away, we shall share to you this TV ad for Red Steel. Whether it is good or it’s rubbish, well, you decide.
