Resident Evil 4 Biohazard: Wii edition gameplay video

There are very few games that inspire soaked underwear and shudders. Capcom‘s Resident Evil series has long been the mark of excellence in the survival-horror genre. Granted that they may have been knocked down a few notches by some of the other games that have come along (Silent Hill) but Resident Evil 4 Biohazard on the Nintendo Wii has placed them back on the horror list.

The video features some of the Wii control bits and gameplay we can expect from the game. The controls (which were featured through the handy help pop-up in the game) look to be spot on and the action fast and frenetic. Of course, the standard “they’re coming in droves and I’ve got a shotgun” scene is in the video. They also showed some scenes where one has to escape from a grasping foe by shaking the Wiimote.

Unfortunately, we have no way of embedding the video clip here in this article so we’ll have to redirect you to the official Biohazard 4 site where its hosted via our read link. Judging from this video though, it looks like this game will be fun to play. We can’t confirm that till we get our hands on it, but we’re already pretty stoked.
