We already know about the “Lost in Nightmares” scenario, where you get to play as Chris and Jill in Spencer’s mansion. What this week’s Famitsu tells us is that there will be another playable scenario, but its name and content is still TBA.

For those who love playing Mercenaries, good news. Capcom is working on “The Mercenaries Reunion” which is basically the same game mode with the same rules, but with more characters, presumably corporate Sheva and biker-thug Chris over there for the consoles. Now you have at least two more characters to score SS on all the Mercenaries maps, although there’s no word if Reunion will also come with more maps or new weapons.

  • The Lost in Nightmares Episode; Includes the Lost in Nightmares episode, EX figures, and two characters for The Mercenaries Reunion. Priced: Â¥500 (US$ 5.60), 400MSP.
  • Costume Pack 1: Includes two costumes, EX figures, and two characters for The Mercenaries Reunion. Priced: Â¥ 200 (US$ 2.2), 160MSP.
  • Additional Episode Title (TBA): Includes the unannounced new episode, EX figures, and two The Mercenaries Reunion characters. Priced: Â¥500 (US$ 5.60), 400MSP.
  • Costume Pack 2: Includes two costumes, EX figures, and two characters for The Mercenaries Reunion. Priced: Â¥ 200 (US$ 2.2), 160MSP.

Capcom is targeting February 18th, 2010 for the release of the DLC for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions in Japan. The PS3 version, however, will be getting a Blu-ray disc which contains all the above content, plus the full game of Resident Evil 5, for Â¥ 4,990, or about US$ 55. This one’s scheduled for March.
