Resident Evil 5 for PS3 has 5 GB mandatory install; demo now available

I know hard drive space is a precious commodity to you download junkies. But what has to be, has to be. When Resident Evil 5 comes out, PS3 gamers have to sacrifice 5 GB of your hard drive to for the game’s mandatory install. Which also means you’ll probably have to sit and wait 20 minutes for it to install too.

When Resident Evil 5 comes out, PS3 gamers have to sacrifice 5 GB of your hard drive to for the game’s mandatory install. Ok, it sucks, specially for those with smaller HDDs, but it’s Resident Evil 5. It’s frak-friggin-tastic. It’s worth the space.

The info comes from the official PS3 box art, which also says that the max resolution is 720p.

But you know what really sucks though? What sucks when you finally get your hands on the game, rush home with utmost haste, and then have to wait 20 minutes for it install. Well, Capcom did say they were trying to avoid the install woes Devil May Cry 4 had, so hopefully we won’t have to wait that long.
