Retro Studios working on a Donkey Kong game?

Retro Studios’ last release was Metroid Prime Trilogy. Since then, the team has been quiet about their next project. That project is now being rumored to be a Donkey Kong game.

 

 

 

 

Retro Studios’ last release was Metroid Prime Trilogy. Since then, the team has been quiet about their next project. That project is now being rumored to be a Donkey Kong game.

 

IGN reports that sources indicate Retro is hard at work on a new Wii game starring Donkey Kong. The last time Retro said anything about their next project, they merely stated that it will get people “very excited.” It’s been a while since we’ve seen an actual new Donkey Kong game, so the excitement certainly is there from fans.

 

Remember, this is just a rumor. Perhaps we’ll hear something more substantial from either Retro or Nintendo during the latter’s E3 press conference on June 15th.
