Rumor: Zelda: Twilight Princess can support two players?
And the Wii rumor mill just keeps grindin’ even with the release date of Nintendo’s new console so close. Apparently, last-minute wonders never cease to pop up, and it seems that this new one is up for a photo-finish.
Over at WiiLoaded, there have been speculations that Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess can handle up to two players (gasp!). Now, Nintendo keeping such a major gameplay element a secret is sort of illogical. But the folks at WiiLoaded seem to have reasons to believe the possibility – two reasons, in fact. One is a screenshot of the game details which is supposedly from IGN.com. Another is the Toys R’ Us pre-order ticket, both of which sing to the same tune that Link won’t be traveling alone.
Hmm… could there be a game mode which is not directly concerned with the story? You know, like in a versus game, where you have the story mode and the versus mode to choose from? Or perhaps Link can possibly be fighting side-by-side with Ganon or Zelda herself? Or is all this just the result of a misprint somewhere?
Either way, until we get official confirmation from Nintendo, it may be best to just take this with a grain of salt and wait for the game to come out.
