The actual source of their rumor is a little dubious, but what’s there to lose if you wait just a few more days? According to their post, the news comes from one of their community members who was in an EB Games store and just happened to overhear that the PS3 will get a price drop on the said day, “just in advance of the Game Developer’s Conference.”

Making the claim even more questionable is that this news came not long after Sony’s most recent comment against PS3 price cuts. Still, it is only a few days, so what the heck.
