SCEE reconfirmation: PS3 will still launch in Europe in March

Such fears loomed over the PAL territories after Sony Worldwide Studios’ Phil Harrison refused to give any “definitive statements” regarding the March launch during an interview with the official PlayStation magazine.

Upon noticing the implications of the interview with the boss, SCEE immediately released statements confirming that the console is still launching for the whole of Europe in March 2007. “We are still very much on track for a March launch in Europe,” clarified Nick Sharples, head of Sony’s Corporate Communications division.

So there, we guess our European friends can sleep soundly tonight. Don’t oversleep though, for you might miss on important developments. You all know anyway how the gaming industry works. It changes with each turn, depending on where the wind blows.
