Smash Bros. Brawl update: Frigate Orpheon and Porky’s theme

You all know what this means: it’s time for another Super Smash Bros. Brawl update! In this installment, we learn about the Frigate Orpheon stage, as well as Porky’s Theme from Mother. More details in the full article!

If you’re a Metroid fan, they you should be pleased to note that one of the stages in Super Smash Bros. Brawl from Nintendo is that it is modeled into the likeness of Metroid Prime‘s Frigate Orpheon. What’s special about this stage is that, like some other stages, Frigate Orpheon has its own quirks, such as having blackouts and a tendency to turn 180 degrees.

When you can hear a siren sound you, you better get ready to jump so you won’t be harmed when the ship turns.

Another new item in the Super Smash Bros. Brawl update is the inclusion of Porky’s theme from Mother. This cool arrangement of one of the most memorable themes from gaming to date will surely send most gamers to Memory Lane.
