SOE to bring out Free Realms comic books starting end of July, with in-game bonuses
Did you guys know that there will be a Free Realms (PS3 and PC) comic book? Yes, you read it right, Sony Online Entertainment’s (SOE) MMORPG is venturing into the world of colored ink and thought bubbles. Partnering with WildStorm and best-selling fantasy author J.S. Lewis of the Grey Griffin series, the Free Realms comic book will come out as a 12-issue series at the end of this month.

Lewis of the Grey Griffin series, the Free Realms comic book will come out as a 12-issue series at the end of this month.
For the first issue, the adventure begins with a young boy being abducted and dragged into the dark forest, filled with lurking monsters. His rescue and survival rests on a relic hunter and pixie out to save him, but this task was made even more difficult to achieve when they themselves were captured by troll-like creatures.
Those who pick up the first issue will not only find out what happens to this unlikely trio, but will also get the chance to receive an in-game item, the “Spider Bite Sword”. For every issue, you can expect an in-game item to be given away.
The Free Realms comic book issue #1 is slated to come out on July 29th. You can preview the comics at the CBR link posted below.
