Publisher eastasiasoft has announced that a downloadable expansion pack called Söldner X-2: Final Prototype – The Last Chapter is currently in development and should be hitting the PSN in the fourth quarter of 2010.

 

The Last Chapter adds three new stages with a new story ending and soundtrack, as well as additional challenges and trophies to the original game. It will also add a new, more challenging difficulty mode.

 

“Söldner-X 2: Final Prototype has been an amazing product that was very well received by gamers and critics alike, which is why we are absolutely committed to showing our continued support for it,” said Marcus Pukropski, CEO of developer SideQuest Studios. “All additional content has been exclusively created for this expansion pack; we are continuing right where we left off.”
