Sony's PlayStation 3 next-gen console - Image 1Following through with their recent PlayStation Home integration movement, Sony has decided to bring two more of its titles into the community-based service it has been promoting over the recent months. The two titles in focus are Naughty Dog‘s Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and Insomniac GamesResistance: Fall of Man.

Both games will feature Home integration which allows you to explore each respective game’s levels using your Home avatars without the threat of being shot, blown up, or even eaten. However, both titles have their own unique Home quirks that Sony is slipping in as an added bonus to extend players’ gaming experience.

For Uncharted, video game website Kotaku mentions that it will come to Home armed with a side-scrolling 2D shooter mini-game. Their sources mention that it will be very similar in the vein of old-school side-ye like Contra and Out of this World, with just a hint of Bionic Commando for flavor.

On the other hand, the Resistance Home integration will allow the players to explore the game’s Campaign mode for added content, something not normally accessible by playing through it on the single or multiplayer modes. This is to flesh out the story woven into it and will help give an idea how the game’s conflict began.

These bonus features definitely help breathe life into some of the older titles gamers thought they’d never pick up again after beating them. In any case, we’ll just have to see how Sony plans to follow up on this move with other possible Home integration plan in the near future.
