Sony smearing via song

We know full well that this subject just screams flame bait, but before you get on your high horses – hear us out first. (Imagining hordes of fanboys with pitch forks at QJ’s doors.) Below is a video from heavyarms117 of YouTube (notice that he has an anti-Flame Suit disclaimer indicating that he did not make the song).

The song is dubbed “How to Kill a Brand” from Doc Adams using The Fray’s How to Save a Life as a stencil. While an incredible mob of fanboys would find the song extremely biased (because it IS extremely biased), some people actually found it funny. Some truths would sting quite a bit, though we wouldn’t agree with the Phil Harrison quotes being mangled and taken out of context.

We’ll see how this works out in the long run – let’s keep our fingers crossed that the PS3 does live up to its projected glory. Criticism is something that is best taken positively.
