Spacewriter’s iBall: The SMS-able Crystal Ball
Another cool way to receive and read text messages! Spacewriter‘s Textable iBall is a bright, crystal ball display that runs on a 24V power source. With its stunning features – 11 inches in diameter, animated light ball, and 360-degree spherical display – it produces images in its 85 super bright RGB LED display. iBall can actually display images, animations, and texts plus store them in its 64Mb memory. It also comes with 100 free text!
You can use the Textable iball indoors or outdoors as the housing is water resistant and the dome display is made up of durable Polycarbonate material. It can be mounted in a desk or you can hoist it up in your ceiling for other aesthetic purposes.
But there are only two hitches found in iBall: it costs $940, and the Spacewriter‘s Web site didn’t mention whether it works on US cellular networks. Sigh!
