Square Enix brings Ludia’s bar to real life

Now this is one place that combines two of my passions – games and booze! Ludia’s Bar has definitely lived up to be the awesome meet-up place that it is. The networking hub from Dragon Quest IX will soon be a real-life bar, soon serving themed food and drinks so you can kick back after a hard day’s dungeon patrol.

When Yoichi Wada mentioned “taking root“, this wasn’t what I had in mind, but it sure is a great idea in my book. I always wanted to go to Tifa’s 7th Heaven or the Rabanastre Pub, I guess this is the closest thing to that for now. Unfortunately for me, “closest” would be Roponggi, Tokyo, which will be the only place Ludia’s Bar is to open. Oh well, if you’ll be in the area from January 28th onwards, be sure to drop by.
