EA expects 2 million to play Star Wars: The Old Republic

This is what Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia found out when he visited the EA offices. According to his report, “earnings are somewhat depressed” because of the game’s development. The two million subscribers should be enough to rake in profits, but they’d still need at least a million players for them to break even.

 

It would now be up to the diehard Star Wars fans to make it a successful one for EA.
