Stranglehold: Xbox 360 demo completed, PS3 version coming soon

Strangehold banner - Image 1Getting a little tired of the media volleys that have left you asking when Midway GamesStranglehold (Xbox 360, PS3) will arrive? Senior game designer Patrick Curry has just announced that they’ve finished the Xbox 360 demo for the game, which has now been sent over to Microsoft for proper verification and upload to Xbox Live. And as Mr. Curry explains, here’s what 360 owners can look forward to when it arrives:

Just what does the demo contain? Tons. The demo starts off the same as the single-player game, introducing you to the controls and combat of Stranglehold. The Hong Kong Marketplace has tons of interactions, lots of combat, plenty of gags, a couple standoffs, doves, and even some extra hidden content. YouÂ’ll be hard pressed to find a demo with this much gameplay crammed into it.

Curry further added that the demo’s PlayStation Network release is still under works, but should be available soon. We’ll let you know if we spot the Stranglehold demo on either online service. Hopefully, it won’t pull off a similar disappearing act similar uber-popular game demos seems to be experiencing…
