Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting Will Not Have Suprise Release Date

With the recent release of the Street Fighter II theme and picture packs many people finally believed Capcom would unexpectedly release Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting for Xbox Live Arcade, but it looks like they will do no such thing as Capcom told 1UP this morning that Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting will not randomly show up on Xbox Live; they will be announcing a release date, “but no, not yet.”

Many games have come out on the Arcade without any signs what so ever other than just randomly becoming available on the Marketplace, but it looks like there will be an official release date set before it arrives. When more news becomes available for the release date we’ll be sure to keep you informed.
