Sugar and spice and a My Little Flufties video
Fluffy, cuddly, lovely, and beady-eyed, who could resist such adorable pets? Created by UK independent publisher Lexicon Entertainment, My Little Flufties was recently announced for the Nintendo DS and is expected to be released by May of 2007.
My Little Flufties is basically a virtual pet game which follows the footsteps of Tamagotchi games as well as Nintendogs. As with any pet simulator, the player is expected to feed, bathe, play with and care for his chosen pet. Neglecting duties will of course mean that the pet will get sick or lonely. Aimed at an audience of ages four to eight, the game hopes to teach the value of responsibility to kids. It also features cute graphics and characters, all set in a fantasy environment. The game also features various mini-games for these moments when the player takes a break from rearing his pet.
So, if you happen to have a young niece or a nephew who’s birthday is coming up sometime next year, then perhaps this would make a suitable present that they would enjoy. In the meantime, here’s a video clip which shows My Little Flufties in action.
