Super Paper Mario screens, widescreen support

After a sudden disappearance from the Nintendo GameCube release list last year, Super Paper Mario has finally resurfaced as a Wii title. We gave you a few interesting tidbits about the game yesterday, so today it’s time to look at a few screenshots, courtesy of Japanese gaming mag Famitsu.

Widescreen owners should enjoy the fact that the game has 16×9 support. Sadly, aside from that, there’s still no word on how the Wiimote will come into the gameplay. Super Paper Mario is slated for a U.S. release on April 9, though, so we expect more and more details to surface as that date draws near. Just keep checking back here for updates.
