Super Smash Bros. coming to Japan’s Virtual Console next year

This was expected to happen much, much earlier – but what the hey, it’s coming! Super Smash Bros., the original game on the N64 that started the Smash franchise, is coming to the Wii Virtual Console next year for Japan. A release in other regions shouldn’t be far behind.

Super Smash Bros., the original game on the N64 that started the Smash franchise, is coming to the Wii Virtual Console next year for Japan. A release in other regions shouldn’t be far behind.

The game will be available for 1,200 Wii Points (US$12), 200 points more than your typical N64 game. Hopefully, it’ll only go for 1,000 Wii Points in other regions, seeing as that’s how much The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time went for.
