Super Swing Golf shipping delay?
With 2 million units sold as of today, many kids are going to be very happy at the sight of a brand new Wii console on Christmas day. A lot of parents though, along with many gamers, have today found themselves asking themselves this: Where’s my Super Swing Golf? The game didn’t turn up on the release date which is supposedly today, December 12, and isn’t present at any game stores, with some sales representatives claiming the game will be in stock tomorrow.
The problem is, we have no idea why the game got shipped out just today. Yup, IGN has confirmed that Tecmo‘s shipping the game today to North America. Super Swing Golf should hit retailers this week with an RRP of US$ 49.95. As we reported back at the start of the month, the game has already gone gold and there haven’t been any problems in the making of the game.
One possible explanation for the lack of Super Swing Golf on the Wii is the holiday mail rush which always comes at this time of year. Players will have to wait for the first virtual Golf game to utilize the Wii-mote’s unique features until we see the games on store shelves anytime this week. So for now, let’s participate in this little waiting game.
