Sword of The Witcher video shown; music CD to be given away

Atari is pulling out all the stops for its upcoming PC role playing game The Witcher. The video game is being developed by CD Projekt in Poland and if you live there, you’ve got a nice treat headed your way. A special music CD featuring death metal tracks will be given away free of charge and it has some of the darkest video game tracks you’ll ever hear. This music video is one of them:

That’s Vader performing the song “Sword of The Witcher” which pretty much talks about the game with bad-ass growls and hardcore riffs. The video has a gothic setting and shows some snippets of the game as well.

Set for release on October 30 in North America, The Witcher will be just in time for Halloween. An Atari rep was asked if there are plans to take the music CD to the American market, but he said there were no intentions of doing so at this point.
