Syphon Filter 5 listing only a typo

Early this February, a rumor broke out that Syphon Filter 5 was cooking in the kitchens of Sony Bend. This came about after a job posting over at their site, coupled with a post from PCB Production’s site for a Facial Motion Capture credits for the game. Back then, Isaac C. posited that it may very well have been just an innocent typo. Turns out he was spot on.

A rep from PCB has finally spoken out, admitting that it was indeed just an honest mistake. “I apologize for the confusion,” he said. “There appears to be some errors on our credits.”

And they noticed it just five months after the posting? Oh well, if they say so. Guess you can scratch Syphon Filter 5 off your next-to-wait-for game list.
