We’ve got news here that the second episode of Penny Arcade: Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness will be debuting on the PlayStation Network this week.

Producer Joel DeYoung from Hothead Games shares at the PlayStation Blog what we can expect from this release, and according to him, they’ve been jotting down notes from your feedback on Episode One, so you’ll probably see your suggestion actually incorporated in-game.

Anyhow, Episode Two will be featuring difficulty settings so you can go through the game at your own pace. If you feel you’ve already had more than enough practice and now deserve a spot in the hardcore level, then finish the game and Insane Mode is all yours. This unlockable will surely test your skills, as well as reveal several other exclusive unlockables.

Trophies, too, as well as all of the other PSN-specific features you expect. So make sure you’ve got room for Episode Two – it’s coming on Thursday, at US$ 14.99.
