Team Fortress 2 June 24 patch: Medic unlockable requirements reduced, more

The developers from Valve Corporation have released a new patch for the PC version of Team Fortress 2 (the game is also available on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3) via Steam. This latest update lowers the Medic’s unlockable requirement as well as makes a few changes that our comrades from Russia will be happy about.

Like the last Team Fortress 2 patch, it will be applied the moment you restart your Steam client. Here’s a list of all the changes as taken from the official release post on the Steam website:

• Reduced Medic’s unlockable requirements to match that of the Pyro’s. Medic players now meeting the requirements will receive their unlockables shortly after joining a server
• Fixed Spy sapper viewmodel animation popping
• Fixed another issue with the Hot on your Heels achievement
• Incorporated the new Russian fonts into the base Team Fortress 2 fonts. Fixes the missing fonts problem when running in Russian with English VO
