Tekken’s Lars joins Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2

larsBandai has had quite a few Naruto games over the years, but they’ve decided to up the ante and appeal to audiences from another fighting game. Let’s not forget that Bandai’s other half, Namco, has Tekken up its sleeve, and it was probably only a matter of time before the two games crossed over, even just for a bit.

At this year’s E3, Namco Bandai revealed that Tekken 6‘s Lars Alexandersson will be making his Dynamic Entry into Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 as an unlockable character. Tekken’s new coverboy will be animé’d up for his new cameo, and judging from the above trailer, he’ll be retaining his moves and even his weird third costume.

It might also be possible that Lars won’t be the only Tekken fighter in the game. It seemed to point to a Naruto Shippuden vs. Tekken 6 clash, but we still don’t have word on that. For now, we’ll be waiting for the game’s September release.
