Test realm Paladins retuned for damage reduction

WoW Public Test Realm iffy with Paladin's Forbearance - Image 1

The rules have been changed a bit for Paladin players at the World of Warcraft‘s Public Test Realm. Players have noticed that the Forbearance (a Paladin’s weakening “debuff” spell) actually grants damage reduction to the receiver of the spell. Paladinsucks, as we all know for his neutral battlegrounds idea, was one to notice.

Now we all know Forbearance is used to ensure that Paladin spells such as Divine Shield, Divine Protection, Blessing of Protection, and Avenging Wrath cannot succeed on an enemy successfully cast with Forbearance, until the 60-second cooldown ends. Bubble attacks for Holy and Protection Paladin builds will now cause them to do 15% less damage than before. And this counts for all damage, as some people have reported.

Tseric, Blizzard representative at the WoW Forums has noted the cooldown complaints and the damage reductions, but he does not know whether the change is a bug or an actual nerf to be released in the next patch. Either way, it’s going to hurt Paladins real bad. Stay tuned, because Tseric will be following up his finds soon.
