The evil CESA (Computer Entertainment Software Association) has announced a few details on the year 2005 edition of its annual Tokyo Game Show. This year’s show takes place between 9/16 and 9/18 at the dreaded Makuhari Messe, a convention center a few train stops East of Tokyo.

As of 8/10, the CESA’s records reveal that 73 companies have announced plans to show a total of 166 titles. Included in this number are fifty-four cell phone games, forty-two PC games, twenty-seven PS2 games, eight DS games, five PSP games, four Game Boy Advance games, three Xbox games, two PS3 games, two Xbox 360 games and one GameCube game. Eighteen games have been marked as being for “other” platforms.
