The case was filed by Paltalk Holdings, a Delaware corporation and owner of various patents relating to methods and systems for communicating over networks. In the deposition, Paltalk pointed at Xbox 360’s Xbox Live Service as the infringing product and services.

Patent number 5,822,523 has been breached by MS, as Paltalk claims. What in the world does this number means? It refers to the “Server Group messaging for interactive applications”. Basically, the Paltalk guys are questioning multiplayer gaming through the Xbox Live. So far, the MS camp has remain silent about this.
