Three videos from Nintendo World Tour 2006

The Nintendo World Tour 2006 has opened in Japan. And people appeared in droves. Fortunately, Jon A (thanks, Jon!) told us about these YouTube videos. The Japanese have TV coverage of the event. (Yes, the Japanese would have long, detailed, and fun TV coverage because they’re not as technophobic as some American lawyers, lawmakers, and teachers.)

Anyway, the first video is boring – old stuff most of us have already seen (that Mario Party game that a few people are excited about, the ever-present Wii Sports). At the end, when they show the deserted streets – what are they saying? Are they saying the streets are empty because everybody’s at the Wii event? Or was it something else?

We love the second video! The two ladies (what TV station is this?) play Wii Sports. Lots of giggling. Lots of commentary. Lots of screaming. Kawaii!

If the anti-Wii people say that getting a Wii is gay, then you’re proud to be Gay for Wii, right?

If the anti-Wii people say that getting a Wii is gay, then you’re proud to be Gay for Wii, right? Right? Now go and shout it from the rooftops – tell the world how Gay you are (for Wii). A lot of QJ staffers are also Gay for Wii. Yeah, some of us are also saving up for PS3s, but right now, these videos have us squeeing.
